Don't you hate it when...

... you've just finished painting the first 30 figures of a 36-figure unit of RSM Prussian infantry (in the marching pose), then you reach for the little plastic bin they live in only to find that you're actually now  completely out.

And you've pledged not to buy any more lead until the end of the year.

Yarooh! But Steve-the-W is right: the unit remains short of establishment for the time being.

But I've run into the same problem. having decided (at LOOOOOONG last) to sort out my ACW cavalry find that I a, 4 figures short of completing my 6th Union 15-figure cavalry battalion. Question: should I opt for 5x17-figure battalions instead (not a very convenient number)? Perhaps I should reduce the 4 CSA regiments to 21 figures instead of 23... Decisions, decisions...

Frustrating, yes, but not a bad problem to have. How many of us have ever managed to paint our way out from under the lead mountain?

Best Regards,
