I've enjoyed this project very much. So much so that I'm starting to cast about for another, and I'm thinking of doing a 30 Years War/ECW "Star Fort" - that is to say, a four-bastioned detatched work like the "Queen's Sconce" just outside Newark, Nottinghamshire.
I've an old Ian Weekly article from Military Modelling on building it, and it fooks pretty do-able.
